This is the historic LA currently (past 20 years) being reconstructed by a cadre of visual artists, poets, musicians and some scholars. It's Mexicacentric LA, LA/Aztlan, the pre invasion Cemanahuac, that which is surrounded by water, or in other words, the earth plane or that which sustains us. It is LA reconfigured, grounded in a central Mexican cosmology that is most certainly making its way North again.
